“ It's a mom and Pop authentic Portuguese food restaurant , we have been there a half dozen times and each time we enjoyed ourselves , the service is wonderful. The food taste great, and it is very reasonably priced this little hideaway is on Newbridge Road in East Meadow you'll feel like you're stepping into a small Portuguese town.Try it you will like it. ”

Appetizers and Main Entree were a very good size; we received family style which we can all enjoy. The restaurant itself isn't made for big parties and the kids chicken nuggets with fries were so gross with no flavor and not cooked well; I'd recommend something different from kids menu. I'd recommend the place for people to try. ”
“ Celebrated my aunt's birthday here last night, food was good! Cozy little place! Feels very homey, this is one of their fave local places and I can see why. Come here with your appetite because everything is served family style! I had the swordfish which was good! Not dry at all, others had tilapia, red snapper, eggplant, steak (with egg on top) and stuffed chicken with Portuguese chorizo which were delicious! Sides which were served family style to go with your entrees are fries, rice, veggies and home made chips which were my fave and so good! Definitely a family place with good food! ”
“ Came here before grabbing a few drinks at Coasters next door. The food was authentic, came out quick, hot and fresh. You can tell they do not pride themselves on presentation but on making the best food possible. I got their special which was marinated skirt steak. It was delicious but it was literally a piece of skirt steak thrown on a place that was oversized with literally nothing on it but the steak. Again- it was delicious but the presentation left something to be desired. My father in law got a 3 pig like entree which he also said was delicious. Again, raves about the food but looked like meat just plopped on a plate. So if you are not looking for something fancy or glamorous, and just want some good food, I would highly recommend! ”
